AM I ELIGIBLE?

Since 1993, The State of Michigan has collected a Real Estate Transfer Tax on all real property transfers. This State law requires a tax equal to 0.75% of the sale price of the home to be levied upon the selling party at closing. However, MCL 207.526 also states if you sell a homesteaded property with a decline in ASSESSED value, you are supposed to be exempt from paying this State Transfer Tax. The State requires a petition be filed proving this was the case for each individual sale that qualifies. That is exactly what we have done for over 20,000 Michigan Taxpayers and would love to do for you.

If, after doing our due diligence, we find that you qualify for this refund, we will gather all the necessary tax and legal documentation and submit your refund claim within a week. We typically receive rebate checks for our clients within 4-6 weeks of beginning this process and have a 99.5% success rate.

We are paid nothing unless and until we recover your refund.

If we have contacted you by mail or telephone regarding our service, our preliminary research indicates you are likely eligible for an RETT refund, and we urge you to contact us at your earliest convenience to begin the process of securing it on your behalf.
